Displacement piles directly from an open excavation

The Olivier systems make it possible to start a displacement pile directly from an open excavation, without the need for sand backfilling.

Our patented watertight reusable drill tip remains securely closed while the auger head is lowered into the excavation. This allows exposed underground utilities to remain clearly visible while drilling starts, reducing the risk of accidental damage — something that is not possible with a lost drill tip.

In this example, an Olivier pile Ø310/510 is installed right next to an exposed pipe.
