Battered piles and the Olivier piling systems: a perfect match!
Inclined (battered) piles are used to resist horizontal forces, for example in foundations for bridges, wind turbines, pylons, and high-rise buildings.
They make foundation designs significantly more economical, and combined with an Olivier piling system, they can deliver major savings and faster installation.
Thanks to the open concrete system, reinforcement in an inclined pile can be placed cleanly through the drilling string, perfectly centred and under the correct angle.

With the right drilling rig, the leader can be inclined forward, backward, and in some cases even to the left or right, allowing Olivier piles to be installed in multiple directions.
At Olivier, we don’t just supply piling systems, we teach foundation contractors how to do it right.
