Training and Support
Correct foundation and shoring techniques start with knowledge, technology and the right guidance.
Olivier provides comprehensive training and technical support for foundation contractors, machine manufacturers and engineers. We train people, from absolute beginners to experienced professionals, in piling and shoring techniques, combining theory and practice, advising on machinery and supporting the entire design process, from the initial calculation to the completed pile or deep excavation.

Those who work with Olivier become part of an international community in which knowledge and experience are shared on foundation and shoring techniques in a wide range of conditions and soil types. Project experience from different countries and contexts, where among others the Olivier pile system and Olivier DPA are applied, forms an important source of knowledge. Thanks to this international exchange, even complex and challenging projects can be successfully completed with confidence.
Design and engineering in collaboration with CloudPiling
Every foundation or shoring project starts with a well-considered design.
Olivier works for this purpose in collaboration with CloudPiling, a specialised end-to-end platform for the design and calculation of foundation and shoring structures.
Together with CloudPiling, we support clients in two ways:
- By preparing complete calculation reports.
- Through the CloudPiling end-to-end platform, clients can design and calculate projects themselves. Training and support for the use of the CloudPiling platform are provided by CloudPiling itself, in close cooperation with Olivier where required.
Technical support and machine advice
A good result starts with the right combination of technique, machine and tools.
Olivier supports clients in making the right choices, independently of brand or supplier. Based on our experience in foundation and shoring techniques, we translate the design into a correct and efficient technical setup.
Our support includes, among others:
- Advice on the appropriate machine concept in relation to foundation and shoring techniques
- Guidance in the selection of tools and equipment, such as auger heads, couplings, secant casings, drilling motors and vibratory hammers
- Support during project start-up and optimisation
- Technical guidance during test projects and initial sites
- Advice on site organisation
- Advice on logistics and transport
- Training and technical support for the maintenance and repair of tools and equipment used in foundation and shoring techniques
- …

Training in foundation and shoring techniques
We provide training for the execution of various foundation and shoring techniques, both theoretical and practical. These trainings focus on safety, quality and the efficient and correct application of machines, tools and techniques on site.
Olivier’s training programmes cover, among others, the following foundation and shoring techniques:
Shoring techniques
- Berlin walls
- Secant pile walls
- Sheet pile walls
- CSM

Training for everyone, worldwide
Our training programmes are suitable for both experienced foundation specialists and participants without prior knowledge. Through a structured approach, participants learn step by step how to correctly and efficiently apply foundation and shoring techniques using existing or new machines, including the proper use of tools and equipment. Operation of the machines themselves remains the responsibility of the operator and, where applicable, the machine manufacturer.
Olivier’s training is not limited to teaching techniques from scratch. Refreshing and realigning existing knowledge is also an integral part of our support. We regularly assist teams that resume work with Olivier techniques after a longer interruption, for example following an extended construction break or a period without application. This includes, among others, the execution of Olivier piles or Olivier DPA. In this way, previously acquired experience is retained and further strengthened.

We always assess together with the client in advance whether a training programme is appropriate and feasible in the given context, taking into account the level of expertise, available machines, local conditions and the intended field of application.
Olivier provides training worldwide and tailors it to the client’s technical context and available machinery. Compliance with local regulations, standards and requirements, as well as responsibility for the design, execution and final result of foundation and shoring works, always remains with the client and the executing parties.
No execution, full guidance
Olivier acts as a knowledge and technology partner, not as an on-site contractor.
Olivier does not carry out foundation or shoring works itself. We focus on technology, knowledge transfer, training and technical support, enabling foundation contractors to realise their projects correctly, safely and efficiently.
Our guidance can take various forms, ranging from advice and training to technical support during start-up and test phases. Responsibility for the execution of the works always remains with the executing parties.
